OPEN CALL FOR BIDS
The Town of Leading Tickles is looking for tenders to bid on snow-clearing services for the 2024-25 season for 0.15 km of road. All contractors must be core certified. PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town as been approved for a Community Enhancement Employment Program for 600 Hours.
All individuals hired for the project must be:
-currently unemployed.
-applicants needing the fewer amount of hours will be hired first.
-Individuals must have at least 20 hours of eligible EI insurable hours to qualify.
-Individuals currently receiving EI benefits who are within the last nine weeks of their current claim may be considered for eligibility.
-Workers must be eligible for EI benefits after completing their project employment.
-All workers must be pre-approved by the department to work on the CEEP Project.
Anyone who is applying for the CEEP project needs to:
-complete an employee Declaration Form.
-bring a copy of your latest claim form from "My Service Canada Account", and
-a copy of Records of Employment obtained within the past 12 months.
